There are many ways you can help the library; Your time and donations are invaluable resources that enrich your community now and into the future.

Anaheim Public Library Foundation

This group meets monthly as a clearing house for community input and sponsors Library fund raisers such as the Annual Mystery Authors Luncheon held each spring. The Foundation seeks members for its Advisory Board, a cross section of professionals who are dedicated to providing quality library services for our community. Gifts & Donations

Adopt-A-Magazine
This Adopt-A-Magazine Campaign solicits donations from individuals, clubs and organizations to support subscriptions to the magazine collections at each library facility. This campaign began in the early 1990s and continues to be an important addition to the Library materials budget. Every summer the "Adoption" lists are available to review for subscriptions for the next calendar year. An acknowledgment of your donation is posted (if desired), and a tax receipt will be mailed.

Gift Books
Give a gift that will keep on giving. You can donate a book in honor of any special occasion. We can help you select a book in a subject area that has special meaning to the recipient. A bookplate listing the donor and honoree will be placed in the front of each book.

Memorial Gifts
A memorial gift is a lasting and thoughtful way to honor a loved one. Whether a personal book collection or a monetary gift, your thoughtful planning today enriches our library for the future. Monetary gifts become part of an endowment fund, invested through the Library Foundation (a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation) to provide interest income to the Library forever.

Donation of Materials
Bring us your used books, magazines, videos, DVDs, CDs and tapes. Your donations will help increase the variety of our resources. When a donation can't be added to the collection, it is added to the Friends Book Sale inventory, with proceeds going to the Library.
